The Boom Fantasy promo code offers a No Sweat Entry up to $100. Deposit a minimum of $10 to qualify.
Boom Fantasy is a daily fantasy sports (DFS) platform that launched in 2015 and has continued to innovate in the space ever since. Users can win up to 500X their cash for correctly guessing over or under on player props through a series of different game modes.
In this review, we’ll take a look at the features that set Boom Fantasy apart. We’ll cover how to claim the Boom Fantasy promo code, ways to approach various contests on the app, highlight user reviews, and much more.
| Welcome Bonus | No Sweat Entry Up To $100 |
| Promo Code | TOPPROMO |
| Minimum Deposit | $10 |
| Last Updated | October 2026 |

Boom Fantasy’s welcome bonus consists of a no-sweat first play, giving players up to $100 in bonus credits if their first paid entry does not win.
Players must use the code “TOPPROMO” when creating their account to claim the offer. Boom Fantasy has a minimum deposit of $10, so you can deposit anywhere between $10-100 for a 100% match rate.
You can deposit more and use a larger entry fee if you wish, but only that first $100 of the entry fee would be issued in bonus credits in the event of a loss. Bonus credits have a 1X playthrough requirement before they can be withdrawn.
If your first entry wins, no bonus credits are awarded.
Redeeming the Boom Fantasy Promo Code is part of the registration process, which takes about five minutes to complete. You can get started on the platform by following these steps:
Since the welcome bonus is exclusively available to new players, Boom Fantasy has separate offers available periodically for existing players. These offers can include things like flash offers, win bonuses, entry streaks, special payouts, and more.
In addition to getting bonuses through the email address used during account creation, players can access bonuses for following Boom on X/Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
If you’re enjoying your gameplay on Boom, you can also refer your friends to the app to earn bonus credits. When your friend registers, makes a deposit of at least $10, and plays through the amount of their deposit, you will receive $25 in bonus credits.
Bonus funds expire after 30 days if you do not use them.
Unfortunately, Boom does not have a loyalty program where players can earn rewards points with each paid entry.
Boom Fantasy was founded in New York in 2014. It first launched its beta platform in October 2015 before rolling out a full-fledged app three months later.
When it first began, Boom focused on short in-game DFS plays, with markets like “Will LeBron James score more or less than 10 points this quarter?” and “Will Justin Tucker make this 47-yard field goal?” While the format was successful, Boom later changed its model to focus on full-game pick’em plays.
In 2017, Boom absorbed another daily fantasy sports site called Draftpot. This effectively doubled Boom’s player base and established it as a platform that could hold its own against DFS powerhouses like DraftKings and FanDuel.
Boom continued to innovate its product with the introduction of Spin & Win in January 2024. This new game mode allows users to pick only two player props and spin a wheel to determine their payout multiplier if they win, with increments of 2X, 3.5X, 5X, 10X, 25X, 100X, and 500X

Boom Fantasy is legal in 21 states and in Washington D.C. The majority of states in which Boom operates do not offer sports betting, though there is a bit of crossover.

Pick’em Favorites is somewhat of a safer way to play on Boom Fantasy, with users choosing on pick’em with reduced projections to increase payout likelihood. They still must choose over or under in the stat categories, as will be the case for all other games on this list.
Because the favorites are the safer choice, payout multipliers are scaled down. Here is what the payout table looks like.
| Number of Player Selections | Payout Win Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 2 Players | 1.3X |
| 3 Players | 1.8X |
| 4 Players | 2.2X |
| 5 Players | 3X |
If you choose a two-player selection and one of your selections ends in a tie, you’ll receive a 1.1X payout. Getting any picks incorrect will result in a loss.
The maximum entry fee for Pick’em Favorites is $500.
Where Pick’em Favorites plays it safe, Pick’em Longshots goes for higher risk and higher reward. There’s a slight change to the format as well, as you’ll only be able to pick two- or three-player entries, and the maximum entry fee is $100.
However, due to the more challenging nature of the format, the payout multipliers can offset the reduced entry fee.
Here is the Pick’em Longshots payout table.
| Number of Player Selections | Payout Win Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 2 Players – both correct | 10X |
| 3 Players – all correct | 40X |
| 2 players – 1 correct and 1 tie | 2.5X |
Pick’em Toss-Ups continues the theme so far as the traditional DFS pick’em option. Rather than adjusting the projections to take a chance at a safer or riskier play, Toss-Ups features the projections exactly as they are while using standard multipliers.
As was the case with Favorites, you’re back to adding 2-5 players per entry. The maximum entry fee for Toss-Ups varies by sport and can be between $125 and $1,000.
Below is the Pick’em Toss-Ups pay table.
| Number of Player Selections | Payout Win Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 2 Players | 3X |
| 3 Players | 6X |
| 4 Players | 10X |
| 5 Players | 20X |
Similar to the other games, you can still get paid with one correct entry and one tie on a two-player entry. In that case, the multiplier is 1.5X.
Pick’Em Spin & Win is the newest game from Boom Fantasy, and the concept is simple. Pick over or under on two different player props, then spin a wheel to find out your multiplier.
The pay table is a bit different since the wheel is weighted (the maximum 500X wedge is harder to get than the 2X multiplier). It also still allows for a payout if you get 1/2 picks correct while on the top two multipliers.
Here’s what the Spin & Win Table looks like.
| Payout Multiplier 2/2 | Payout Multiplier 1/2 | Likelihood on Wheel |
|---|---|---|
| 2X | N/A | 61.8% |
| 3.5X | N/A | 33.0% |
| 5X | N/A | 3.0% |
| 10X | N/A | 2.0% |
| 25X | N/A | 0.2% |
| 100X | 10X | 0.04% |
| 500X | 25X | 0.004% |
As you can see from the table, the majority of entries will be a 2X multiplier, which is less than the payout for a standard two-player entry in the Toss-Ups game. The appeal here is the 38.2% chance of getting a payout of 3.5X or higher, which would be more than the Toss-Ups standard.
The following sports and leagues are available for pick’em plays on Boom Fantasy.
Boom Fantasy operates a smaller payment method list than FanDuel and DraftKings, but the list is on par with other DFS-only operators. You can use a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover) to fund your gameplay; if those options don’t appeal to you, you’re also able to use PayPal.
All transactions have a $10 minimum. You won’t be able to use credit cards for withdrawals, but debit cards and PayPal work just fine.
You can only submit one withdrawal request at a time. All withdrawals are subject to review, though the review process usually takes less than 24 hours.
After your withdrawal request is approved, it usually takes 5-7 days for your funds to arrive. The process usually speeds up after your first successful withdrawal.
If you’re having issues with your withdrawal requests or to cancel a withdrawal, contact support@boomfantasy.com immediately.
Boom Fantasy’s main social feature is the Recent Wins tab, where you can see player entry details (which players and entry amount they used) and the payout returned. The feeds are broken up by “Big Spins” for the Spin & Win game and “Pick’em Wins” for all others.
Unfortunately, there is no way to follow other players within the app. Instead, using these feeds is more helpful after games are settled when you can see the strategies other players are consistently using to improve your own gameplay.
Boom launched a Reddit forum in January 2024 for players to interact, share promo news, and more. The subreddit can be found at https://www.reddit.com/r/BoomFantasy_/.
Boom Fantasy’s referral program rewards users for bringing new players to the app. After you’ve created your account and made a play, you’ll have a unique referral code you can send to your friends and family.
After they receive your referral code, the person you referred must complete their registration, make a deposit of at least $10, and play through the entirety of their deposit amount. Once they do, you’ll receive $25 in site credits per referral.
There isn’t a limit to the number of people you can refer, so you could end up racking up considerable bonus funds for the people you bring to Boom. However, you are only allowed to refer new players.
Referral credits will expire after 30 days if unused.

Boom Fantasy uses a stylized blue and white text display on a black background, making for a sleek aesthetic. The app opens to a “lobby” screen that allows you to easily navigate through the four game modes.
Load times are impressively quick. We did not experience any issues at all, regardless of whether we were using an Android or Apple device.
At the bottom of the screen are four menus: “Lobby,” “My Contests,” “Recent Wins,” and “More,” the last of which accesses your profile settings, transaction history, help center, and responsible gaming resources. The “Recent Wins” section is platform-wide, so you can see the successful picks others made and use those trends in your research for future entries.
Instead of a “Promotions” tab, you’ll be able to scroll through a sliding menu at the top of the screen for details about giveaways, the referral program, the active welcome bonus, and more. This will supplement the other updates you get with bonus information via text, email, or push notifications.
Unlike a few of the other apps we’ve reviewed, we didn’t feel the number of push notifications was excessive. This was truly appreciated, as some DFS almost feel desperate for players based on the number of notifications received.
To our surprise, Boom Fantasy did not list any of its responsible gaming practices on the website. While they were accessible in the app, this was a significant concern, as those who most need help to reinforce responsible gaming habits may be better off not opening the app at all.
Within the app, Boom references that it has partnered with Birches Health, which is a national online provider of responsible gaming treatment and education. A link is provided to take you to the Birches website for additional assistance.
Boom has also set up account limits that impact the amount of money you can deposit and play per entry, as well as the number of contests you can enter.
Deposit limits restrict how much money you can deposit in one calendar month, ranging in $500 increments up to a maximum of $10,000. These restrictions will last for 90 days and cannot be changed before the end of the term.
Entry Fee Limits rein in how much you can play on a single entry. These restrictions also last for 90 days and are set at increments of $5, $10, $20, $50, or $100.
The Contest Entry Limit controls how many entries you can submit in a seven-day period, and the limit also lasts for 90 days. Entry limits can be set to 5, 10, 20, 50, or 100 entries.
Finally, Boom Fantasy allows players to voluntarily self-exclude from gameplay on the platform. During the exclusion period, players cannot enter any contests in the app; any winnings from entries that started before the exclusion period began can be rearranged for out-of-app delivery, except in Pennsylvania where all such winnings are forfeited.
Self-exclusion lengths include one-year, two-year, and three-year periods. A lifetime exclusion is not included in the app, though depending what state you live in, you may be able to set up a permanent exclusion through your state’s gaming control agency.
The strategies for success on Boom Fantasy will vary depending on which of the game modes you’re playing. Strategies that work for Pick’em Favorites won’t necessarily work for Pick’em Underdogs or Spin & Win, especially as Underdogs caps your entry at three players and Spin & Win only allows two.
When you’re picking your players, be sure to reference the Bettor In Green Cheat Sheet, which is available daily. The Cheat Sheet contains relevant player data, including recent and season-long trends, to help you make more informed decisions in submitting your lineups.
If you’re submitting an entry with only two players, you’re more often better off playing Toss-Ups than Spin & Win. Toss-Ups has a guaranteed 3X multiplier for a two-player win while there is a nearly 62% chance you’ll end up with a 2X multiplier by playing Spin & Win instead.
Mixing in a Spin & Win play every once in a while is certainly ok, but you will generate more consistent profits over time with Toss-Ups if you’re planning on limiting your gameplay to two-player entries.
While you won’t be able to use the same player for multiple stat categories on your entry, you’re allowed to use players from the same team. This allows you to go more in-depth with your research and find a small handful of matchups to target rather than do bare-bones research on a wider volume of games.
User reviews of Boom Fantasy have been generally positive. The app boasts a 4.6/5 rating in the Apple App Store and a 4.2/5 rating in the Google Play Store.
It’s important to remember these scores can be manipulated, either by users who unfairly “ratings bombed” the store after a loss they had or by using bots/paid reviewers to fudge the numbers. The best way to be sure is to try it for yourself, though the reviews can help you find points of concern along the way.
Positive reviews frequently mentioned the enjoyment of the Spin & Win game, as well as how easy it was to use the app. Negative reviews tended to revolve around extended withdrawal times and the lack of a safety net allowing a five-player entry to still pay out with one selection scored as a loss.
Here are a few reviews we found particularly beneficial.
A reviewer giving three stars in February 2023:
“I like the different ways this app has to play BUT my complaint is the length it takes to pay out your winnings 🤦🏾♂️ (it’s ridiculous) other betting apps have same day and/or faster payout than this Boom app.”
A reviewer giving four stars in May 2024:
“Nice app and fair games overall top 5 dfs apps.”
A reviewer giving five stars in March 2023:
“I like the different features of the app, such as longshots, favorites, and matchups, in addition to the regular pick’em. The user interface needs some work, though. Need to add a sort/filter feature for the props. This app has massive potential. Withdrawal system has seemingly been improved and works great now.”
One of the most noticeable differences between Boom Fantasy and other DFS platforms is the withdrawal time. As we touched on earlier, it could take a week to get your winnings, while other operators like DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, and PrizePicks have been able to expedite that process.
This is the single biggest area where Boom can improve.
Boom’s array of props for over/under pick’ems is reasonable and is on the upper end of what many DFS platforms offer. We’d like to see even more markets available, but between both the list of sports available and the selections within those sports, Boom is doing well here.
The app interface is excellent and is one of our favorites to use. The lightning-fast load times and fluid navigation between gamestyles and menus makes for a solid user experience.
Finally, the Spin & Win game is something that is almost entirely unique to Boom Fantasy. A few other sites have wheels you can spin to change your payout multiplier, but the magnitude of the multiplier hasn’t been as large.
To sum things up, Bettor In Green can confidently recommend Boom Fantasy for your DFS gameplay rotation. The app is among the smoothest in the industry, and Boom continues to innovate its playstyles and bonuses (the referral program is also a boon for those who bring others to the app).
Frankly, there isn’t much to nitpick beyond the payout times. We’ve been quite satisfied with Boom and hope that your experience will be positive as well.
Be sure to use the bonus code when registering your Boom Fantasy account so you can take full advantage of the welcome offer. A second-chance entry of up to $100 is one of the higher-value promotions we’ve seen DFS sites offer.
Good luck, have fun, and always play responsibly!!
