After completing the registration process, the Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins will automatically be added to your account.
In addition to the welcome promo, SportsMillions has the following promotions available for returning players:
SportsMillions refers to its contests as “Sweepstakes DFS.” In the same way that sweepstakes casinos are permitted since the currency for wagering isn’t real money and is instead some form of site token, SportsMillions’ “Gold Coins” are used for gameplay.
Sweepstakes Coins can be redeemed for prizes, with 1 SC redeemable for $1, subject to a minimum balance. They can be earned through daily logins, in social competitions, by referring friends to SportsMillions, through a mail-in request, and when buying Gold Coins.
With the Blitz’Em game format, DFS play feels more like a lottery than a traditional pick’em style. By having both the legs of your entry and the potential prize randomly assigned rather than building your own submission, you’re often able to hit a greater return multiplier on a winning ticket.
Still, we understand a majority of players will prefer the Pick’Em game when both are available in their state. SportsMillions’ Pick’Em contests are real-money DFS over/under entries with larger multipliers for correct selections than at competing sites.
There are many reasons to choose a sweepstakes DFS site like SportsMillions, the foremost of which is the free-to-play format. By using GC and SC instead of real money, players can familiarize themselves with DFS contests without the same financial commitment, learning strategies and building skills to prepare for paid games.
Another factor in SportsMillions’ favor is the integration of the sweepstakes casino. Using the same platform currency for DFS and sweepstakes casino play gives players multiple opportunities to earn and use GC across the site and mobile app.
SportsMillions launched its DFS platform and sweepstakes casino in the summer of 2024. As of the end of November, SportsMillions has expanded its services to 41 states, with Pick’Em contests legal in 16 states and Washington D.C.
The iOS version of the mobile app launched on July 25, 2024; an Android version of the app is not yet available.
If the DFS model proves successful, SportsMillions may try to expand by adding a sportsbook to its gameplay options. Underdog Fantasy is currently testing this possibility, having launched its sportsbook in North Carolina in March 2024, possibly paving the way for operators like SportsMillions to follow suit.
SportsMillions has varying degrees of legality in the states where it operates. That means some contests will be legal while others may not be supported.

The SportsMillions Pick‘Em game follows the format of other DFS pick’em contests. Players choose over or under on player props from NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, College Football, and/or College Basketball games.
Entries must contain at least two picks and can contain up to 12 selections. Prize multipliers scale based on the number of selections added to each entry up to a maximum of 1,500X.
| Number of selections | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 2 | 3X |
| 3 | 6X |
| 4 | 11X |
| 5 | 20X |
| 6 | 40X |
| 7 | 70X |
| 8 | 130X |
| 9 | 250X |
| 10 | 450X |
| 11 | 800X |
| 12 | 1500X |
Blitz‘Em contests on SportsMillions are offered in more states than Pick‘Em because Pick’Em issues real-money prizes while Blitz’Em offers “Gold Coins” and “Sweepstakes Coins” as prizes. The game format is also significantly different.
In SportsMillions Blitz’Em, players choose a game, team, or player to build their entry around. Then, they spin a wheel to determine their potential prizes.
After spinning the wheel, the legs of the entry are randomly generated. In fixed play formats, players must get all legs correct to win while flex play formats allow you to miss a couple of legs along the way while receiving a reduced prize for a win.
The majority of SportsMillions’ social casino games are slot-style games or Slingo contests. These games allow players to win Gold Coins which can then be used for DFS entries. Table games like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat are expected to be available soon.
SportsMillions has several special features and innovations that set it apart from competitors in the DFS space. The free-to-play, spin-and-win format of Blitz’Em is entirely unique, with players receiving randomly generated DFS over/under tickets and prizes.
Other DFS sites may use their own form of currency on the platform, but SportsMillions has doubled down in that regard through the use of both Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins. Though it may be confusing at first, Gold Coins are purely “for fun” and have no cash value while Sweepstakes Coins can be redeemed for cash at a 1-to-1 rate.
Players can also use and earn Gold Coins at the social casino, giving more flexibility in gameplay styles. They can also be earned through daily check-ins, a feature that is unavailable on other DFS sites.
SportsMillions supports DFS plays for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, College Football, and College Basketball action. Given its relatively recent launch, more sports will likely be added as the player base grows.
Pick’Em and Blitz’Em games revolve around picking over or under on player, team, and game props, similar to prop betting at an online sportsbook. However, the payouts in Blitz’Em are random, as is ticket construction; Pick’Em contests require between 2-12 entries, with escalating multipliers for each submission added.
The following payment options are available for funding your account on SportsMillions:
You’ll also be able to withdraw your winnings on the site to a gift card or to your bank account. You must have at least $10 in Sweepstakes Coins in your account to withdraw via gift card and at least $75 for bank withdrawals.
The main community feature of SportsMillions is the player leaderboards, which are often used for contest prizes on the site.
Players earn points for both the number of winning tickets they have and the number of picks included on wins. SportsMillions will frequently award both Gold Coins and Sweepstake Coins with prizes for the Top 100 or Top 500 players on the leaderboard.
Another feature is the random GC/SC giveaways, which require one eligible ticket in the opt-in contest. Players are prohibited from entering these contests more than once, so every player has an equal chance of winning.
SportsMillions is also very active on social media and will periodically award site currency to followers.
SportsMillions can be played through a web browser or via mobile app. However, the app is only available to users with Apple Devices at this time, and it is unclear if an Android app is in the works.
We’ve noticed the gameplay experience was smoother through the mobile app than in a web browser. Ticket generation resulted in a jumbled display during Blitz’Em play in several of our tests.
While these bugs are relatively minor and inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, they are still issues that should be addressed to smooth out the user experience. We did not encounter these issues when making Pick’Em selections, so it could be a game-specific issue.
Customer support was relatively responsive via email (support@sportsmillions.com) and over the phone (424-842-2442), both of which are available 24/7. However, there is no support chat on the web or in the app, and the FAQ pages are a challenge to navigate.
The first strategy for success on SportsMillions is to lean on Flex Play when it is available. Flex play allows you to miss a couple of legs on your entry depending on how many you included, increasing your likelihood of a win.
While this comes at the expense of a reduced reward maximum, winning more frequently should offset the reduction.
You’re also more likely to find success in Pick’Em contests by putting some time into researching player props. Bettor In Green has a daily cheat sheet for NHL, NBA, MLB, and NHL player props with loads of data on performance throughout the season to help you make smarter decisions about your DFS plays.
The cheat sheets can be yours for $4.99/month, which you could make up rather easily in winnings on SportsMillions after hitting your entries.
Blitz’Em and Social Casino play truly comes down to luck, not strategy. Entries for Blitz’Em are randomly generated and you can’t change your picks, so your DFS knowledge won’t help you; slots are random as well, and until table games are included, casino strategy won’t be relevant either.
User reviews of SportsMillions are virtually non-existent as of writing. Between Facebook and the Apple App Store, there were a combined seven reviews available.
SportsMillions has a 3.0/5 rating in the Apple App Store, though you should take that number with a grain of salt given the small amount of reviews. Waiting until there are more reviews available will allow you to get a more accurate feel of the platform.
We did find a few recurring themes within the limited available reviews. Users seemed satisfied with the welcome bonus (especially since it didn’t require a deposit) and the number of games available in the social casino.
However, there were still areas pointed out for improvement, specifically speeding up the withdrawal process. There were also moderate delays in winnings being credited to user accounts.
The first and most important upcoming development for SportsMillions will be launching an Android app. The majority of sports bettors and DFS users prefer making wagers and placing entries through a mobile app over a web browser, and if the product is handcuffed to Apple devices, a large chunk of players will have difficulty accessing the content.
Another potential development would be adding an online sportsbook. This seems a long way off, as growing the DFS user base is a more immediate need for SportsMillions.
Increasing the number of sports available on the platform will also help to grow SportsMillions’ popularity, though this is also something that could require growth and time to implement.
One of the first things Pick’Em players will notice is that SportsMillions has high-level multipliers that match or surpass other popular DFS pick’em sites. Consider the table below:
| Number of Pick’Em Entries | SportsMillions Multiplier | Underdog Multiplier | PrizePicks Multiplier | BetrPicks Multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | 3X | 3X | 3X | 3X |
| 3 | 6X | 6X | 5X | 5X |
| 4 | 11X | 10X | 10X | 10X |
| 5 | 20X | 20X | 10X (Flex Play) | 20X |
| 6 | 40X | 25X (Flex Play) | 25X (Flex Play) | 30X |
| 7 | 70X | 40X (Flex Play) | N/A | 50X |
| 8 | 130X | 80X (Flex Play) | N/A | 100X |
| 9 | 250X | N/A | N/A | N/A |
| 10 | 450X | N/A | N/A | N/A |
| 11 | 800X | N/A | N/A | N/A |
| 12 | 1500X | N/A | N/A | N/A |
Not only does SportsMillions allow for more picks per entry but also the winnings at nearly every tier result in a larger payout.
SportsMillions’ pick availability is also on a similar volume as other top sites, though there were slightly fewer in our observation than at Underdog and PrizePicks.
Payout times were also slightly slower with SportsMillions, though this should improve over time, mirroring the trend at other DFS sites. In general, payout times for the first year of DFS operation are relatively slow but increase to be twice as efficient over time.
Overall, Bettor In Green sees a lot of potential for SportsMillions, but we have a hard time recommending it outside of Pick’Em or social casino play. Frankly, we don’t see the appeal of making a DFS entry at random, especially when certain legs can contradict one another.
For example, one of our randomly generated entries during testing was on a hockey game between the Minnesota Wild and the Calgary Flames. Legs included the Wild scoring less than 5.5 assists as a team, the Flames scoring less than 2.5 goals, but players between the two teams combining for more than 13.5 points.
While not mathematically impossible, this ticket has a highly unlikely chance of winning due to the higher number of unassisted goals the Wild would need to score to make it happen. Through their first 19 games, only five of Minnesota’s 66 goals scored were unassisted (7.5%), making a winning ticket even harder to achieve.
However, aside from Blitz’Em, SportsMillions is doing a lot of things well. The social casino is fun for slots fans, and Pick’Em players will appreciate the higher payout rates on winning entries.
SportsMillions has three types of games available on its platform: Pick’Em, Blitz’Em, and Sweepstakes Casino games. The casino games are mostly slot- and Slingo-style games. Pick’Em is closest to traditional DFS over/under play while Blitz’Em randomly generates a DFS entry.
SportsMillions is different from traditional DFS sites by offering a “Blitz’Em” game where users’ entries are randomly generated instead of allowing them to pick for themselves. Another major difference is the dual currency, with Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins used in place of real-money entries for many contests. Furthermore, the seamless integration of a sweepstakes casino within the same mobile app works to complement the DFS experience.
The following sports leagues are available on SportsMillions: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, College Football, and College Basketball. Blitz’Em players can pick from a single game or sport while Pick’Em users are able to mix and match on their entries.
Yes, SportsMillions has same-game contests on its platform. Users can create their own same-game pick’em or play Blitz’Em and have their entries and prizes randomly generated.
Yes, you can join SportsMillions contests for free. Blitz’Em entries use either of SportsMillions’ site currencies (Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins), and the rewards for winning the contests can be withdrawn for prizes or cash.
Yes, SportsMillions offers several ongoing sweepstakes rewards, including deposit matches, boosted Gold Coin purchases, and daily check-in prizes.
